  The Canada-based urban/pop group The Bilz & Kashif broke barriers with their debut album, The Bilz Album, in 2006―and they haven’t slowed down since. Producer-artist duo Vicious and Master-D join forces with R&B/pop artist Kashif to create a unique urban/pop sound that has made them a fan favorite from Montreal to Mumbai. Their early singles “2 Step Bhangra” and “Spanish Fly” gained international commerical success, reaching no. 4 on the Top 7@7 chart on Toronto’s Z103.5, and earning the group a spot on MySpace’s Top 10 Independent Canadian Artists. The video for “2 Step Bhangra” received more than 700,000 views on Youtube, held the no. 1 spot on MTV Desi for 3 weeks, gained medium rotation on Much Music and Much Vibe, and was licensed to a MTV Canada commercial. The single also won them the Best Dance Video of the Year at the 2007 Bollywood Music Awards. In 2008, they released the smash single “Turn the Music Up,” which received more than 900,000 views on YouTube. The Bilz & Kashif have performed alongside platinum-selling artists including Enrique Iglesias, VengaBoys, 112, Belly, Crystal Waters, Massari and Bobby Valentino. The trio have been busy since their debut release. In early 2009, they gave back to their fans with “He’s Nothing But a Loser,” a promo track that got nearly 100,000 downloads as well as placement on every major international urban blog. They kicked off summer with a tour in Germany, and were invited to perform at DutchVersity’s The King Movement in Amsterdam. They’ve recently signed a ringtone deal with Jamster, will make their Hollywood music debut with a track in Catherine Zeta-Jones’ The Rebound, and will be featured in the animated Bollywood movie EKEH 2.0, starring Bollywood stars Firoz Khan, Fardeen Khan and Rakhi Sawant.
